I bought 4 of these and found them easy enough to build. The first one took me over an hour but the next 3 took me no more than 30 minutes each. No screw or fixings, it all slots together. Some of the slots are fiddly and I recommend you follow the steps in the instructions, rather than second guess the process. Also watch out for how you put the second set of corner uprights into the slots, because if you want to screw the frame to the wall then the fixing holes are only at one end of the upright. Once built they are sturdy enough, although I might upgrade the MDF shelves to plywood. Overall though good value for the price and they have made a real difference to the tidiness of my garage and shed.

The shelves were provided with their own instructions, but once you get them out and take a few moments to work out what you need to do, the assembly is fairly straightforward.( I am not the greatest at DIY) If you intend to secure them to a wall, just make sure you have the brackets with the pre drilled holes in the right place, They can be put together by yourself, two people would make it easier, especially when stacking two assembled units together. I don't need to put any great weight on the shelves, so these are plenty strong enough. Nice edition for the garage which looks a lot tidier with these shelves

For years I have been trying to find the best way to organise a large walk in cuboard in my hallway. At last thanks to these garage shelves I have found the solution. They are easy to erect and concept to the wall. I'm 74 . So I'm sure you can do it as well. My cuboard is tidy at last.

When furniture arrives with gloves included to assemble it, you can bet they'd rather pay 10p for the pair of gloves that make sure all the edges where the metal has been cut are smooth. That said, I didn't wear the gloves, and I didn't cut myself. It goes together easily enough. A couple of the joints didn't fit very well, and when you push the parts together they can bend in your hands. The metal is cheap, very cheap...but I paid just over £30 for it, so it was always going to be cheap. 175KG per shelf? I would not like to be anywhere near the shelving unit if it had that much weight on each shelf. But, for what I use it for, it's more than sturdy enough. Will I buy it again? Yes. I'll probably buy two more. I don't expect they will last a life time, but I only need them for a few years, and I think they will last that long at least.
