I managed to do it alone, though an extra set of hands would make it even quicker. Just be careful of the sharp metal end. Use gloves to protect your hand. A good strong piece of shelving when assembled. Yes the wooden shelving is a little bit on the flimsy side but that is not a problem for me as I will cut a new bit of shelving to meet my needs. I am having a big sort out as I have stuff all over the place in two sheds, so this shelving will come in handy. The quality is fine for the price, and the storage capacity will a God send. All in all very pleased. Recommended for keeping spaces organised. Great product and I have splashed out on four units.

I needed two units of this but after reading some reviews saying how flimsy it was, I ordered only one to see how it was. As it turned out, the individual pieces were indeed quite light and flimsy, but when fitted together the entire unit is very sturdy and felt solid. I would say that it serves it purpose but I am not sure it can hold the maximum load of 875 kgs as claimed by the supplier. Fitting it together was quite straightforward and I have just ordered another unit.

Well I thought I have to review this shelving unit, so people have a good idea as to what they’re putting their money into. I’ve bought a lot of shelving units off amazon, mainly the plastic type and they’ve been great , easy to assemble and easy to take down. I needed a shelving unit with a minimum of 80cm width and a good load bearing capacity and could find nothing among the plastic shelving on offer. So I looked at other shelving and came across the Divchi garage shelving, having spent many years installing heavy duty shelving units for retailers, based on the same design principles of the Divchi shelving I thought these would be ideal. How wrong I was, the metal used is sub par but I know that the strength lies in the clip design and unit rigidity. The unit is simply engineered very badly not to any kind of tolerance and the clips are out in every area making the assembler try to fashion it by bending out the clips in order to insert them. Unfortunately when inserting one piece the hook clip to another piece is pulled out so you spend a lot of time just trying to fashion the bottom shelf. I did leave it for a week due to time constraints and came back to it but when the same thing happened I put it back in the box which was a struggle and contacted amazon for a return, please don’t buy this it uses good design principles but the metal and the engineering is off buy something else.

There easy to build. I don't recommend for the garage or attic. The pressboard shelves on it are very very thin. I'm using mine for 18 inch dolls. The pressboard shelf will probably mold as they're so thin. Two of my shelves are damaged but I'm going to mod podge something on them so it's all right. They're worth the price for inside the house I think anyway.

I'm on my fourth set of these shelves (adding to, not replacing) and honestly I can't fault them. It looks like a box of pick up sticks when it arrives but goes together really quickly and holds a lot of stuff. Spend a couple of minutes measuring how far you want the shelves apart, but other than that they're a really quick build and it keep everything well organised.
