Great garage shelving Things to note:- You need to study the instructions carefully before making up - it is much easier if you follow the pictures - a gentle touch is needed on some of the parts to avoid bending (such as the fitments on each corner to attach the top to the bottom) Also the parts fit via a tab through a slot so gently does it when first fitting so you ensure the tab goes through both top and bottom of the slot, this ensures stability and strength - once you see it peeping through, then and only then give it more force with your mallet - this saves trying to get it back off if you mess up :-) I speak from experience As long as you make two ladders up; one for each side first, the rest is reasonably easy to do I suggest that small improvements could be made by the manufacturer in my personal opinion :- The middle strut fitments do not bend as suggested with a screwdriver as they were too short and strong once through the slots to get enough leverage, so I used gaffer tape both sides of these struts to keep them in place instead Also it would help to have a written part to the instructions as well as the pictures; particularly the fact that you need to gently tap the parts in place to fit inside the slots both top and bottom for strength and stability and not just through the top of the slot before you hit fully home The little stoppers / bungs for the top and bottom of the legs are stiff and could do with a bigger well to fit over the legs - I had a nightmare fitting them to this larger unit so maybe a rubber version rather than hard plastic would be another improvement (the smaller units of this type which I purchased seem to have the same ones but the well is no bigger for this much larger and thicker gauge unit?) Only small niggles for what seems a really good value item but felt I had to mention in case the manufacturer is looking for feedback That said, the shelving unit looks brilliant and once made up seems nice and sturdy Overall very pleased for the money and do recommend this unit especially for the price

Really happy with this. Agree it was a bit fiddly when installing (I built it myself) but once assembled it’s solid. Plenty of storage space and no regrets.

Put the racks together today and was a nightmare assembling it. It’s incredibly flimsy and not sturdy at all. The bars are light steel and bend so easily. The shelves are basically crappy cardboard-like material and don’t hold as much as advertised. For the price paid it’s not worth it. Would recommend finding something more reliable.

Very pleased with this racking for the garage. It is very robust and holds a lot of weight. Do pleased we have now ordered a second!

Ok for the price, not sure I would describe as heavy duty as the shelves are quite thin but will be fine for what I need. As I will be using in an exterior garage I took note of a person’s review who got shelf mould and stained mine with fence stain before using to be on the safe side.
