Well engineered, high quality product. Bought this as a storage tower for Vinyl Albums. As can be seen, it is perfect for that and holds 120+ LPS. Also room for a smaller sheet lf FoF my boardband hub, etc. You need a hammer, a cloth so you don't bash the shelves and a small screwdriver to open up the slits a little, though easy to put together. Nice wooden shelves too. Looks good. If you go looking for 'Vinyl storage' by name you pay more!! Easy 5 stars.

Well packaged with all pieces neatly bundled together. I had watched a few YouTube videos on assembly before I bought the unit, so new what to expect. All steel construction, and although thin, the parts are corrugated and folded to add rigidity. There were no strength issues or wobbles once fully assembled. The assembly is the tricky part. The 4 uprights are assembled from the ground up, each level defined by 4 cross-members. You decide the levels yourself to suit. The crossmembers have a pair of tongue shaped flanges on each end. There have to locate into corresponding slots on the uprights. Each flange needs to be inserted into the slot then back out again to ensure proper rigidity. Heh....took a while to master this trick, but once I did, I was away. Like I said, you really need to watch the video which gives a few tips on how to achieve smooth assembly. Took me about an hour, and was real pleased with the finished result. Shelves appear thin, but because they are supported on all 4 sides, not an issue. The edges are prone to chipping, and once they are inserted, not easy to get out! I had to disassemble mine as I wasn't happy with distance between shelves. I also used a heavy rubber mallet to persuade the cross-members into their slots! I would certainly buy this unit again, and there is nothing else on the market that will compete at this price for strength & versatility. Recommended......

This is the epitome of flat pack. It is simple to understand how to assemble, but because it's metal parts, some bits are slightly bent and also bend when putting together. You do need a bit of brute strength to get some of the parts to clip in fully. The instructions call for a hammer or mallet but I would not advise it because it will definitely damage the metal parts.

This is perfect for my kitchen. Living in a small flat, space saving is key. I had around 40cm of space between Fridge and wall that was empty, but could never find a suitable shelving system, or piece of furniture to fill the space and give me a place to put pots and kitchen appliances when not in use. This has done it. And it's very sturdy. Each shelf apparently accommodates 80kg of weight, which is a serious piece of shelving, if you need that kind of robustness mind. It certainly feels sturdy and is strong when assembling. Very happy with Songmics in general. I bought an electric desk that is height adjustable prior to this and it is a superb product and does exactly what I need it to do. I also bought one of their expensive bins for my flat, which arrived with this Unit and that is great too. I recommend their range of products. Affordable and always meet a standard worthy of repeat business.

I bought the 2 pack of the shelving units, arrived very quickly which was excellent. Started noticing a smell very quickly like a bad fishy smell. I thought it was maybe the packing tape as sometimes the cheaper ones can have a fishy odour, but it wasn't, the smell got really pungent. I quickly got the units out of the shipping packing and got rid of it. the boxes they came in reeked. Built the shelves and had to leave for an overnight. Came back in the afternoon the next day and the whole house is stinking. Smells like off prawns, its a smell you can taste (if that makes sense?), its eye watering. Checked the shelves and the shelving boards are reeking of off fish. So I've thrown them out the back of the house. I don't know what happened, the car the person was driving from Hermes( Evri) that delivered them was packed, maybe they had old rubbish bags or something in boot and they leaked, but F*** me the smell is so strong I don't know how she could drive the car. Reached out to the seller a few hours back will see what the hell they have to say, this is unexpectable.

This is a decent shelving unit for the price. The shelves were a bit chipped but as it was going in a shed, the looks were not important. It wasn't complicated to assemble, but was fiddly and took longer than I expected (over an hour). It feels sturdy now that its in position, but it felt flimsy moving it from the place it was assembled. The instruction leaflet shows a hammer ans screwdriver and I wasnt quite sure why at first, but the hammer is to make sure each piece is locked in, and the screwdriver is to prize open any tight slots

I ordered this unit to fit between two units, it is a great fit, it was reasonably easy to assemble, sturdy and suited our needs, very happy with the purchase, it is free standing so versatile to use anywhere you need extra shelving. I bought 3 of these and for me these are great. They are easy to put together. Light in weight and great in height so, that I can reach the top, I am 4ft5 in height. Realmente quedan estupendas en cualquier parte de la casa. Nosotros les hemos barnizado los bordes a los tablones y han quedado perfectas, realmente muy decorativas, aunque no es que haga falta porque tal como vienen ya quedan muy bien. Lo único que el montaje, aunque fácil, exige hacerlo con cuidado porque si no se ajusta bien después será endeble. Bien ajustado quedan muy estables y firmes.
