This isn't the most beautiful piece of furniture (it's metal cage-like material held together with black plastic connectors), but it is very practical. I bought it as a practical piece of furniture to help tidy up my teen's room which was awash with school books and other things that were 'tidied' into piles on the floor. It was easy to put together - it took me about half an hour on my own and I didn't need any tools beyond what was included in the pack. It's since been loaded with stuff - including some heavy books - and is in perfect condition still. I'd recommend this as a solid storage solution.

The WORKPRO black 5-Tier Lightweight Wire Shelf is now set up in my work room with my electronic testing gear and all my soldering gear and heat station. It was very easy for me to assemble and should be quite easy for everyone really just following the instructions provided. With 5 shelves each of which can hold up to 50kg and adjustable feet, and dimensions of 44 x 29 x 130 cm; 4.77 kg and a max capacity of 250KG it really is a great set of shelves for the home.

I am always looking for storage. So when I was offered this heavy duty shelving I thought it would be ideal for storing heavier items. As it offers 50kgs per shelf and a total of 250kgs for a relatively small footprint. I will start by saying these are over packed. There is a lot of hard plastics, sturdy cable ties, and plastic wrap used. This does a great job of protecting the shelving but ultimately will end up in the bin. The construction of the shelf unit is quite interesting. The shelves slot on to the posts using tapered plastic sleeves. This allows shelves to be deconstructed easily without effecting the sturdiness. The shelves are much bigger than expected. 130cm doesn't sound a lot but it's around chest height for most people. One minor annoyance are the plastic mats for the shelves. They are stuck together and can be very frustrating to separate. A sturdy set of shelves perfect for the garage, shed or kitchen.
