I have to admit after reading the reviews I was dreading having to put this together but I have to say it was incredibly easy to do and I would have no hesitation in recommending this unit to anyone. Took me and my wife 30 mins to do the first unit and about 15 mins to do the second. Solid and great value for money.

First the positives: these shelves are pretty easy to assemble and once all together are reasonably sturdy. They also are good looking for “industrial “shelving. However, and here comes the negatives, there is no way I would put more than 50 kg per shelf on this system - the manufacturer claims 175kg/shelf, which is ludicrous. The shelves themselves are made of high density MDF only a few mm thick, with one flimsy metal brace running down the center. IF the load was perfectly balanced, you might get 50 kg per shelf, BUT With that much weight on every shelf the structure itself would be unstable, and would be very risky for anything other than garage storage. So 4-stars, because they work for me - storing tools, paint, car stuff, etc, but I quickly realised if I had wanted to stack bags of cement on these shelves I would have returned them!

This is easy to assemble- not screws, just slots together with a small mallet to help. Can be one tall unit with 5 shelves or 2 smaller units, 1 with 2 shelves and the other with 3. Perfect for a shed. I also think they’d look great in a retro office. Really good value too.

When built very sturdy,ordered 2 first one went together ok ,but second one had a lot of problems with rails very sloppy fit and had to bend tags over to stop the unit from falling to bits ( must have been a Friday kit )
